I absolutely love to photograph these lovely quiet moments during an otherwise busy and hectic wedding day.
I always try to tell prospective brides and grooms, that it is really important to book a photographer who will actually capture images of the bridal preparations before her big moment at the alter.
The grooms are not to bothered to be photographed putting the suits on, but for a bride its something she will cherish forever. That moment everything comes together, the shoes, the hair and makeup and of course the dress, all that preparation to look and feel so very special, after all, as a bride, this is your day!
One of my highlights of the year was to photograph this stunning bride getting ready for her wedding in one of the delightful rooms at the impressive Nailcote Hall. It was sumptuous and reminded me of a grand palace wedding I can only dream of!
For this wedding photo, where the bride was getting ready, we had a dozen people behind the camera, yet she looks so calm and in such a tranquil place, just dreaming of the hours to come.
