As a West Midlands and Dudley wedding photographer, I am quite often photographing couples tying the knot at Dudley's Priory Park and Ruins.
Luckily for those who do choose to get married in a registry office, the Dudley based office building is quite nice with an attractive interior and beautiful gardens. It is surrounded by a large park with plenty of opportunities for wedding photos. There is even a ruin of an old priory.
However, if it is your wish to exchange vows in Dudley, as a wedding photographer I have a couple of words of warning. Firstly, you cannot take any photos during the actual wedding ceremony at Dudley Registry Office, only afterwards.
And secondly, and I personally think it is something to ponder when choosing your wedding venue - if the weather is not that good, there is nowhere inside that you can organise family formals or any other kind of photos.
You are only given a certain amount of time before another couple arrives to say their I dos!
With such an abundance of stunning wedding venues around West Midlands, any registry office would be my last choice. But it is just my personal opinion :) and I always appreciate sometimes there are no alternative options.
Fortunately for us, on the day Melissa & Stuart officially became husband and wife, the sun was shining and we had a nice stroll around Dudley Priory park and managed to capture some lovely natural and unposed wedding portraits for the beautiful happy couple!
